| I havent done a blog in ages! I know you all miss it so. My Fair Lady has turned out much better than anyone thought it would despite the mass of technical and shirtical difficulties on Saturday night. I am very antsy about being in school now so I think Im just going to stop going. I dont think anyone would really notice. Particularly Pelkey. Lauren and I are starting a gang called "The Blacks" we will now strive as hard as humanly possible to be black and smoke black and mild cigars constantly. In short, we are going to be the coolest ever. Maybe I should start wearing ice or bling bling. Maybe I should get a fucking job. Maybe I should stop talking about myself...... maybe

| There is so much pain in this world. Suffering that is unimaginable in a soceity as priveledged as the one we live in. I am not saying that anyone should have to apoligize for their good fortune, but I wish greater amount of people could appreciate their situation more than they do. The beauty and freedom availible to all of us is invaluble, particularly when contrasted against the destitude prevelent among the rest of the world. There is a constant ache that echoes around our world, of loss, of fear, and of pain. This, unfortunatley, is an inherant aspect of humanity, but so is empathy . I know that this blog is preachy and melodramatic but the small percentage of horror I have witnessed in these past weeks has been very disturbing. I feel lost because there is no solution to this pain and it would be so much easier to close my eyes and plug my ears. I have no solution. The only option availible to any of us is to love. Pain breeds pain, violence breeds violence, but thank God love breeds love. There are people in situations that will realistically never improve. The only way that I feel I can help them is to love them. My voice is quiet and rings amid a chorus of differing views and political opinions. I may never be heard but for my own sake I can believe in that which I feel is right and live by a code of empathy and love for all of those around me.
Miriam: You are a beautiful person. Because of your nature you are more succeptable to the pain of others. I know it hurts and I know you feel guilt for those in pain but what you are doing by caring and loving them is really all anyone can do and should do. I love you, keep on keepin on.
Think Im being mushy or cheesy?
Suck my dick!

| "I have always supported our troops...But I believed then as I do now that the best way to support our troops is to avoid sending them on mistaken military campaigns that needlessly endanger their lives and limbs." -George McGovern
Thank you Miriam, thank you.
| SO how bout them affirmitive action supreme court cases? I'll be really interested to see how this one plays out. I personally think that if we are to use affirmative action as a system, it should not be based on race. I feel that such systems further alienate minorities and do not encourage diversity so much as they emphasize factors which are irrelevant. I understand affirmitive action when used as retribution for those who have not had the opportunities that much of middle America has had. But ethnicity has nothing to do witht this concept of affirmative action. I support assistance and limited preferential treatment based on S.E.S. because its the priciple determining factor in the opportunities availible to an individual.
I'm gunna go take a shower now, I smell like badussey!
